Ten years ago, on May 23, 2010, Count Carl Johan Bernadotte opened the new museum and welcomed in his speech that Birgit Nilsson's childhood home in Svenstad would now be opened to visitors and become a place dedicated to our great opera star. A year later, the exhibition opened "Birgit Nilsson - moments and tones".
